Hi
We had setup 2 servers (Non DC) for DFS replication but replication did not take place for days.
While running the DFS diagnostic report, following are the errors or warning messages
Primary Server - No errors or warnings
Reference domain Controller - DC04.x.com
Replica Server - 2 warning messages found
- Pre-existing content is not replicated and is consuming disk space.
- This member is waiting for initial replication for replicated folder NZ
Reference domain Controller - DC03.x.com
Additional steps taken but initial replication did not takes place.
- Both DC03 & DC04 are cluster domain controller.
- We had delete and recreate a new replication group from DFS management and reconfigured replication schedule
- We had raised the staging quota from 4GB to 40GB
- We had tried restarting DFS replication service on both machines
- No Error events log in primary server
- Replica server receives 4102 event under DFSR source
Questions:
1. Is there a way to force replication?
2. Base on above information, what else can we check to isolate the problem
3. Are there any other settings required on the Active directory sites and service to get replication running?
Thanks & hear from you
Regards
