Hi all,
I got multisites with my architecture ..
2 servers DFS-R on the main site and 1 dfsr on each distant site ( 4
sites ) ...
For the moment, on the main site, the 2 server are indepedant, just
replicate by DFSR on local storage ...

Is it possible to install a cluster with this 2 servers, ans let
replicate to the others site by DFSR ?

Thanks a lot for your help
Best regards

You can let the servers at the main site replicate with the remote servers.
I wouldn't think a cluster in the main site would be necessary.

Thanks for your help ...
But in fact i got 2 servers on the main site : MainServer1 and
MainServer2 and 4 distant servers DistantServer1 DistantServer2
DistantServer3 DistantServer4.
MainServer1 replicate integrally with Mainserver2 by LAN connection
but for example DistantServer1 replicate only with Mainserver1 and
after Mainserver1 replicate with mainserver2 ... So in my example,
Mainserver1 is down .. There is no replication betwenn Mainserver2 and
DistantServer1 ...

That's why i am thinking about a cluster, 2 2008R2 in cluster who will
be the dfs HUB ...
I keep the security by 2 servers on the main site and I optimize the
HA ..

What do you think about that ?

I'm not following what you are saying in this paragraph.

Mserver1 replicates "integrally" with Mserver2. What does that mean?

Maybe i'm not following you correctly but why can't the distant servers
replicate with Mserver2? Why is Mserver1 in the mix?

I just want to say that the 2 mainServer are on LAN, the others
servers are on WAN

Maybe i'm not following you correctly but why can't the distant servers
replicate with Mserver2? Why is Mserver1 in the mix?
Because i have to optimize the ressource, The 2 main servers are "like
a cluster", only one of the 2 replicate wich each distant servers ...
And the 2 main server replicate "realTime" ..
Maybe i have to replicate distant server with the 2 MainsServers but
when a file is changed on distant server, It sends to MainServer1 and
Mainserver2 ... So bandwidth .....

Thanks for your help.
