Hi all,
We have ran into a slight problem with a replicated share that seems to be
using the older DFS replication rather than the R2 DFSR replication. All
servers are 2003 R2.
There are currently 3 servers set up with two way replication on a folder
held on the 'master' server (think hub and spoke). The initial installation
was set up between two servers each with the R2 components, all replicating
without problems. A 3rd server was introduced and replication added but
without installing the R2 components being added(!). Once this was
discovered and the error realized, the R2 components were added.
Although this is now setup, it would still appear that the replication
method being used is DFS. I have tried removing the replication between the
problem server and re-adding but is would seem it still wants to use DFS
rather than DFSR.
All 3 servers are DC's and the only server at each site.
Any ideas?
Wayne.
