using frs replication, but namespace is domain mode.

os : windows 2003.

name space is \\abc.com
share name is public
link name is DOC

Therefore to access, it will display in this manner \\abc.com\public and
there is a folder link call DOC.

But when i type this from XP machine, it will display \\abc.com\public\ and
when i click DOC, it points to another DOC and it seems to go forever .

eg it becomes like this from XP machine \\abc.com\public\doc\doc\doc\doc\doc
.....

When i try on other machine, it looks well.

What is wrong ?

It sounds like a circular reference, if your domain and namespace are both
called abc.com

If you set up a namespace called "Public" with a folder name of "Shared"
then you would find the namespace at \\abc\public\shared

- abc is the domain
- public is the domain root
- shared is the folder
