hello,

i reported this also in the dutch group but now i see in the english section
is a section for dfs. I have a sbs2003 r2 server and a 2003 rs server with
dfs working just fine till a few days ago. On the second server i have an in
dfs log an event id 13505. on the sbs server no problems in log.

what could solve the problem?
restarting the dfs service was no solution.

best regards

Patrick

Try changing the replication between the servers to non authorative, and
check if it can actually replicate. Non authorative replication are used
when you have some problems related to assertions in the FRS service

Procedure:
1. From cmd "net stop netfrs"
2. Access regedit and this path:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\NtFrs\Parameters\Backup/Restore\Process
at Startup
3. Change the value of the "BurFlags" key to "D2"
4. From cmd "net start netfrs".

More info here: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/290762/en

Hope it helps

Cheers
