DFS Out of Sync

Hello,

I have a DFS Replication group which, according to an XCOPY /L states that
the receiving server is missing several files.

According to a DFSRDIAG Backlog check, the servers are "in sync with
partner" with No backlog.

Whats the best procedure to re-sync the files to ensure the content of each
are the same?

Thanks,

Right out of the box DFSR excludes files to be replicated like .tmp files.
Did you remove the default exclusions?

Hello,

Yes, I should have mentioned the files are not in the exclude list. There is
no pattern to the skipped files, other than they are mostly in the same
directly. The file extensions are .htm, .jpg, etc.

I ran an XCOPY /S /D to sync the files from the master to slave server and
everything is in sync now, however I only did this due to the small number
of missing files.

What's the proper procedure if this were to continue to happen?

Thanks,
-B

There is nothing wrong with the procedure you used.
