There is a note in a MSoft DFS Step by Step guide that states that the
Antivirus software must be compatible with DFS Replication.

If it is not what will it cause, replication failures??? My vendor Trend is
saying it is OK but I don't think they really know and I need to know what to
look for.

Thanks Again!!

We just posted an article about testing AV compatibility with DFSR on our
blog at http://blogs.technet.com/filecab/default.aspx. This gives you a
list of tests to perform to check for compatibility.

With DFSR 2008 enabled on 2 servers -- is there an approved AV that works
well? I've tried McAfee and Symantec and ran into major issues with files
(mostly AutoCAD) getting deleted and sometimes disappearing when they are
either opened and/or modified. Will the new ForeFront Client Security for
Server 2008 be the solution?

Thanks,
K
